A Gracious God
Most of us have read about the fall of man as described in Genesis 3. The passage I want to highlight is verse twenty-one. This is a perfect display of the graciousness of God. Adam and Eve have disobeyed Him. They hid from Him because they were naked. In their shame of nakedness, they covered themselves with fig leaves. This covering was inadequate. Therefore, God made them better garments. Let that sink in. Adam and Eve were disobedient to God. He dealt with their sin, then loved them by providing something for them that was better than what they had. We may never fully understand the significance of our sin, but we can praise a gracious God who forgives our sin, cleanses us from all unrighteousness, and provides for every need. Thank You, Lord, for doing for me that which I could never do for myself. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy. Genesis 3:21 21 The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them. Today’s Reading: Genesis 3
