A Sobering Thought

This proverb should give all people, especially Christians, cause to pause. The writer is teaching us that everything we do is seen by the Father. Furthermore, everything we think is known by the Father.  This is a sobering thought. 

This reality should shape our behavior and our thought life. What you do matters. Behave in a way that honors God. What you think matters. Cast out thoughts that are contrary to the word and will of God but dwell on things that are true, right, noble, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy. This is how we live a life that we can be happy knowing God sees everything. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy.

3 The eyes of the Lord are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good.
