I had a conversation with a student yesterday. He failed the first quarter in my class, which is not easy to do, if you put forth any effort. In the conversation I told him that he may not fully understand the importance of putting forth effort, but, at my advanced age, I could assure him that effort leads to a better life.
Then I read this passage this morning. How wonderful is our God to allow me to have that conversation yesterday, then remind me today that no matter how old we get, we can still be fruit bearers. Oh, did I mention that Monday’s podcast episode is titled, “Are You Producing Good Fruit?” https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-agape-leaders-podcast/id1586388308?i=1000674051946 I love when God sends subtle reminders that He’s in charge. It encourages me to continue my walk with Him in confidence. Be reminded that no matter your age or life’s stage, in Christ, you can still bear good fruit. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy. Psalm 92:12-15 12 The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; 13 planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God. 14 They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green, 15 proclaiming, “The Lord is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him.” Today’s Reading: Psalm 92-93
