As I read Psalm 73, I felt I was “listening” to a conversation the Psalmist was having with God. It reminded me that I, too, can talk to God as if I’m talking to a person. There’s no need to get candles out, put down a prayer cushion, and get in my prayer closet. Those things are fine, but not required. God wants to have a relationship with you. He wants to guide you into His righteousness. He wants to be the head of every aspect of your life. If you will give Him complete control, the peace you will have will be beyond your understanding.
If you have never surrendered your life to Christ by accepting what He did on the cross for the forgiveness of your sin, then do that today, right now, IF you believe that He died for you and that God raised Him from the dead. It’s that simple. If you do accept Christ, please reach out. You cannot walk well with Christ without being joined with a body of believers. You need their gifts and they need yours. The Bible teaches us that WE are the body of Christ. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy. Psalm 73:27-28 27 Those who are far from you will perish; you destroy all who are unfaithful to you. 28 But as for me, it is good to be near God. I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge; I will tell of all your deeds. Today’s Reading: Psalm 73
