But God…
Can you testify that your life would look way different, “but God” who is rich in mercy stepped in and saved you from destruction? I can!! I need to raise both of my hands and my feet! The truth is, we all owe our continued existence to God. His mercy sustains us. When we do what we want, against His word and we remain alive, that’s by His grace. Paul writes in Romans 6:23 that the wages of sin is death. Our sin condemns us. Read that last sentence again! Be thankful for God’s mercy. Allow Him to use your story to bring others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Yes, you were once “drowning” in sin, but you’re not now! Go tell someone your story. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy. Ephesians 2:4-7 (NKJV) 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. Today’s Reading: Ephesians 2
