Continue In Your Faith

Every second of every day you have the opportunity to turn from God or continue in your faith. I’m sure it doesn’t seem like it, but it’s true. 

You make decisions constantly. Many of which you barely think about, you simply decide and move on. This includes the words you say, the places you go, what you watch, what you listen to, etc. Endless decisions with “eternal” consequences, yet, you put little to no thought into these decisions. 

Here’s the good news, if you have the mind of Christ, those decisions will honor Him. So the question of the day is, “Do you have the mind of Christ.”

Take time today to meditate on that question. Allow the Holy Spirit to identify areas in your life that do not honor God; areas in which you are not continuing in your faith. When the Holy Spirit shows you these areas, release them from your life. They offer you no support and they pull you from Christ. 

GET RID OF THEM!

Remember, “And without faith, it is impossible to please God…” (Heb 11:6) Make sure you continue in your faith! Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy. 

Colossians 1:21-23

21 Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. 22 But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation— 23 if you continue in your faith, established and firm, and do not move from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.
