Psalms 149 and 150 always make me want to SHOUT from every rooftop about what the Lord has done for me.
I am reminded of the way my family and I celebrated 2002 turning into 2003. I did a sermon about the importance of the family unit. Before 2003 ended my wife and I were separated. It seemed as if God had forsaken us. Boy was I wrong. The way God guided us through that season of life was amazing. Yes, there was unbearable heartache. But just like the pains a mother endures during childbirth, once the miracle of the delivery occurs, those pains are forgotten as they gaze into the face of this new life that has been created. That’s how I felt when God reunited Son Hui and I. And having felt that, I want to SHOUT praises to God every second of every day. I love the Lord! He heard my cry, and He answered. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy. Psalm 149:2-5 2 Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; let the people of Zion be glad in their King. 3 Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with timbrel and harp. 4 For the Lord takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with victory. 5 Let his faithful people rejoice in this honor and sing for joy on their beds.
