Discipline

Growing up, I always thought discipline meant punishment. My parents would “discipline” me when I did something they told me not to do. As I grew in knowledge, I learned that there is more than one definition for the word discipline. 

This passage highlights the importance of having the discipline to do what’s right. In fact, the writer says that loving discipline equals loving knowledge.

What areas in your life do you lack discipline? I encourage you to seek guidance from the Holy Spirit to increase the discipline you exercise in your life. It will be the best decision for your life. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy.

12 Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but whoever hates correction is stupid.
