Do You Know Him

The COVID pandemic was a difficult time for many people. However, something good that came out of that season of life was a rap I wrote called “Do You Know Him.”

The message of the song centers around observing people who know OF God but have never taken the time to get to know Him. The reality is, if people knew Him, then their pursuit of unrighteousness would stop immediately. It is virtually impossible to truly know God and desire to do evil. 

It’s one thing to fall into temptation. It’s completely different when you willfully pursue it. In this passage, John teaches that there is a difference between doing good and doing evil. 

The key? Do you know God or do you not.

11 Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God.
