Dysfunction
How many families get torn apart by internal strife? I would imagine that number is higher than it should be. The question is, why do families fight so much against each other. I wish I knew the why. As you read this passage you can see that a household divided against itself cannot stand. Dysfunction is the result. Strife in a family is avoidable but it is going to require patience, humility, sacrifice, and a willingness to lose some “battles” so you can win the “war.” Ask God to show you areas in your life where you are a part of the dysfunction in your family and other relationships including work. When He reveals your role, take measures to change for the better! Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy. Matthew 12:24-25 24 But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, “It is only by Beelzebul, the prince of demons, that this fellow drives out demons.” 25 Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand. Today’s Readings: Matthew 12:22-45; Proverbs 3:27-32
