Enduring Faith
This entire chapter of Hebrews highlights faith. What stands out to me is that faith does not equal a “happy” ending. Throughout the chapter we see good outcomes and not good outcomes, yet faith is commended in both situations. The outcome of your prayer is not based on the level of your faith. Jesus had faith, but He had to die on the cross. Peter had faith, yet he died hanging upside down on the cross. Isaiah had faith, when God said whom shall I send, Isaiah said, “send me,” yet he was sawed in two for his faith. Your faith is between you and God. It is the only way to be pleasing to God. Your faith will be tested. This means difficult times are coming, will you continue in faith or will you fall away. There are many believers who have left the faith. Someone or something turned their heart away from God. Stay diligent less that become you. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy. Hebrews 11:13 13 All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance, admitting that they were foreigners and strangers on earth. Today’s Reading: Hebrews 11
