Faith & Follow-Up
This passage is a great lesson in faith and follow-up. The blind man who was healed exercised great faith in believing Jesus could heal him. Then after he was healed he followed Jesus. In my walk with Christ, I’ve seen people have great break through in Christ. They know God did a work in their life, but in short order, they go right back to their old ways. They are not like the blind man who “followed Jesus along the road.” How are you doing with this? Do you treat God like your personal genie? As long as you get what you ask for how you ask for it you’re happy? Don’t do that! Spend quality time with the Father. Allow Him to help your faith to grow to a place where you understand that everything is His. He created it all. Faith in Him is wise. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy. Mark 10:49-52 49 Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.” So they called to the blind man, “Cheer up! On your feet! He’s calling you.” 50 Throwing his cloak aside, he jumped to his feet and came to Jesus. 51 “What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked him. The blind man said, “Rabbi, I want to see.” 52 “Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.”Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road. Today’s Reading: Mark 10
