Finding Grace
As a teacher, I’ve had more than my fair share of students ask me to show them grace when they are late for class or found using their phone at a time when that’s not allowed. In those moments, I do not show them grace, I show them the door. However, we are all blessed to serve a God who enjoys showing His grace to us in our failings. God sent Himself in the form of man to pay the price for our sin against Him. Ponder that for a minute! If you are looking for grace, you will find it in the Father! Allow His grace to cover you. But try not to live a life in constant need of grace. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy. Hebrews 4:14-16 14 Therefore, since we have a great high priestwho has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess.15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. 16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Today’s Reading: Hebrews 4
