Freely Give

When we think of giving, it usually involves money. However, time and talents must be added to that thought. Some people don’t have money to give in abundance. But they can offer the gifts God has given them to others. 

I’m reminded of the song The Little Drummer Boy. He had no gift to bring to lay before a King. But he did have his drum. He played his drum and Jesus smiled. 

Be mindful, it’s never about the nature of the gift you give. It’s about the heart of the giver. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy. 

2 Corinthians 9:6-7

6 Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
