God Is Our Faith

I like how reassuring Psalm 33 is. The Psalmist encourages the believer to place their focus on God. As we do this daily, the concerns and cares of our lives will seem small and manageable. 

I particularly like verse twenty. We learn that God is our shield. I believe that this is why it is impossible to please God without faith. If He is our shield, and the armor of faith is a shield, then God is our faith. Therefore, without God it is impossible to please God. (You may need to read that a couple of times. Also, see Ephesians 6:10-18 for clarity)

What area of your life requires you to exercise your faith? Allow God to be your shield. He has a perfect record. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy.
