As you read Psalm 83, take note that the Psalmist is asking God to “deal” with those who have spoken against Him and threatened His people. This is a bold song. When we pray in this manner, humility must guide us. We should not pray this type of prayer with vengeance in our heart.
What stronghold in your life do you want God to pull down? Go before Him and ask Him to tear it down. Then be patient while He works. It is likely to take a while and require much faith on your part. But, like the Psalmist knows, God will prevail. He always does. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy. Psalm 83:1-4 1 O God, do not remain silent; do not turn a deaf ear, do not stand aloof, O God. 2 See how your enemies growl, how your foes rear their heads. 3 With cunning they conspire against your people; they plot against those you cherish. 4 “Come,” they say, “let us destroy them as a nation, so that Israel’s name is remembered no more.” Today’s Reading: Psalm 83
