If ever I needed a reminder of who God is, this morning is that day. Last night I had one of those difficult hours. I learned a family member has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. While speaking with another family member about that diagnosis, I got word that a friend of mine had passed away earlier yesterday. Without God, this news could have been overwhelming.
Praise the Lord! His faithfulness in the little things blesses me. I have read Psalm 135 more times than I can remember. But today I needed the reminders more than ever. We all experience difficult “hours,” but with God, we do not need to be overwhelmed by them. There is none like Him. Lean into that. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy. Psalm 135:5-7 5 I know that the Lord is great, that our Lord is greater than all gods. 6 The Lord does whatever pleases him, in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas and all their depths. 7 He makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth; he sends lightning with the rain and brings out the wind from his storehouses. Today’s Reading: Psalm 135
