God’s Word

“God told me…” I have said this and heard people say it to me. There was a time in my life in which I didn’t fully understand what I was saying. I believed God was speaking to me, but truthfully, I was wrong sometimes. 

Through Spiritual maturity and daily interaction with God through Bible reading and prayer, I am much better at discerning the voice of God from the voice of Gregg or, worse, the voice of the enemy. This has been critical in my walk with Christ. 

We read in Luke that God’s word never fails. When we misrepresent God and that “word” from God fails, we are telling people that God’s word can fail. This can pull people away from Christ. That’s never a good thing, especially for the person who has misrepresented Christ. 

As you share Christ with others, take care to learn the  voice of God by spending much time with Him. You will share Him better. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy.
