HAPPY NEW YEAR!
For the first 31 days of 2025, we will read a Proverb a day. The wisdom in this book will help us grow in our understanding of who God is and how He wants us to live. My initial plan was to use verse seven as today’s passage, but as I got to the end of the chapter and read these words, they hit me. I want to encourage you to do a life inventory. Who are you following? Who has the biggest impact on your life? If the answer to both of those questions is anyone/anything other than Christ, I implore you to change it to Christ immediately. As we start this new year, let’s have a Christ focus that will change our environment. Let’s live lives so Christ-centered that people will see our lives and glorify God. And for those who do not know why we are how we are, may they ask us to give them a reason for the hope that is in us. 2025 can be a great year, if we put God first! Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy. Proverbs 1:30-33 30 “Since they would not accept my advice and spurned my rebuke, 31 they will eat the fruit of their ways and be filled with the fruit of their schemes. 32 For the waywardness of the simple will kill them, and the complacency of fools will destroy them; 33 but whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm.” Today’s Reading: Proverbs 1
