I Know This Well

As I read this proverb, I felt very knowledgeable about the message. On August 4, my wife and I will go over the 37 year mark for our marriage. In that time I’ve learned that finding “what is good” does not mean every good thing you find will come in a beautiful package. 

Sometimes it’s telling you a truth you may not want to hear. Sometimes it’s not supporting an idea you have because you’re blinded by ambition or a desire that keeps you from seeing straight. Either way, be mindful that finding a spouse is a good thing. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy. 

Proverbs 18:22

22 He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord.
