Is God Your Stronghold

Psalm 27 was one of my mom’s favorite Psalms. Since I’m a momma’s boy, by default, it is one of mine. As you read the first six verses of this Psalm, I pray that you will better understand why your relationship with God is the absolute best thing you can have in your life. 

Take your time and meditate in these verses. Consider your life. How has God shown up in your life, especially in those times you know you did not deserve His grace? As you ponder these things, allow your heart to soften towards Him. After all, there is no Stronghold like Him! Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy. 

Psalm 27:1

1 The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?
