It Can’t Be That Bad
This chapter of Revelation should not be taken lightly. Jesus has revealed to John, and by default us, what is going to happen when Jesus is about to return for His people. If you are not walking with Jesus, it’s not going to be a good day for you. Many times I hear people say, “it can’t be that bad.” I encourage you to meditate on this chapter and consider a time in the Bible where you read about a warning from God that did not come to fruition. This, too, is going to come to fruition, the only question is, where will you be when you get where you’re going. Hear the words of God as recorded in the book of Isaiah: “As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” (Isaiah 55:10-11) God does not use idle words. If He says it, it’s going to come to pass. Please take this passage seriously. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy. Revelation 6:15-17 15 Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and everyone else, both slave and free, hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. 16 They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!17 For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can withstand it?” Today’s Reading: Revelation 6
