James 5
Tomorrow’s podcast episode will be on James 5. I encourage you to plan to watch/listen to it. Last night I spent nearly five hours texting with a friend. Our friendship was on the verge of collapse. The enemy had infiltrated the friendship with a two prong attack, and it was working. But God, who is rich in mercy, showed up. I’m still amazed at how He guided us through a tough conversation. I’m convinced that He has something in store for this friendship, therefore the enemy went on a Blitzkrieg level attack. What areas of your life are under attack? Trust God and be patient. We have no idea what God’s ultimate plans are. We only know that they are for our good. Isn’t that enough? Spend some time, today, sitting alone with God. Ask Him where your defenses need to be improved. He will show you, better yet, He will help you improve in that area. My friend and I can testify to it because we experienced it last night! Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy. James 5:7-9 7 Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waitingfor the autumn and spring rains. 8 You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near. 9 Don’t grumble against one another, brothers and sisters, or you will be judged. The Judge is standing at the door! Today’s Reading: James 5
