Keep Encouraging

I have a friend with whom I am going to do ministry with in the coming days, months, and years, God willing. He is the embodiment of an encourager. A word from Jayden will lift your soul. His energy is infectious. As I read this passage, I thought of him. 

God saved us through the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus. That’s the best news anyone could ever hear. When we accept Jesus’ sacrifice, we are supposed to share that Good News with everyone who crosses our path. That can be a daunting task. 

Therefore, God places encouragers in our lives, like Jayden. Do you have the gift of encouragement? If so, make sure you spread your gift among the believers and the non-believers. You never know the ultimate impact of your encouragement. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy. 

1 Thessalonians 5:8-11

8 But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate,and the hope of salvation as a helmet. 9 For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. 10 He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him.11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
