Mob Mentality

As I read verse thirty-two of this chapter, I thought about the concept of a mob mentality. People in the group did not know why they were doing what they were doing. It is possible that if they thought about what was happening, they may have realized it was not something they agreed with. Subsequently, they may not have eagerly participated in that event. 

We must be careful not to follow the crowd simply because a “new” teaching has come in Jesus’ name. God calls us to test teachings and see if they hold up next to the Word. 

When we do that we are far less likely to get caught following something that leads us away from Jesus Christ and how He has called us to live. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy.
