"Number Our Days"

When I read this passage this morning, it hit different. Think about it. How often do we blast through our days going from thing to thing as if we have all the time in the world to do what we must do for God? That’s a mistake I make more than I care to admit. 

The Psalmists asks God to teach us to number our days. I take that as saying, “teach us to realize that we do not have much time, so give us the discipline to focus only on You and what You deem important.”

See what I mean by “it hit different?” Ask God to give you a laser focus on Him. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy.

12 Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
