Persevere In Witnessing

This passage is a good reminder that we must be patient in our witness. It may take several times of sharing the gospel to one person before they realize that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. 

This means we must persevere in witnessing. We cannot give up because we do not see the fruit of our labor. It is God who will make the fruit grow, not us. 

Who has God placed in your path to witness to? Do not grow weary. In due season God’s will will prevail. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy. 

Acts 26:28-29

28 Then Agrippa said to Paul, “Do you think that in such a short time you can persuade me to be a Christian?”

29 Paul replied, “Short time or long—I pray to God that not only you but all who are listening to me today may become what I am, except for these chains.”
