Pot, Meet Kettle
This is one of the “funniest” passages in the Bible. The hypocrisy of Jacob is thick. It reminds me of the saying, “what goes around comes back around.” It seems that Jacob is getting a taste of his own medicine. Jacob has lived a life of deception and now he’s experiencing what it feels like to be deceived. He didn’t like it. In your quiet time with God, ask Him to show you areas of your life where you may be a hypocrite. Then ask Him to help you overcome your hypocrisy through the power of the Holy Spirit. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy. Genesis 29:25 25 When morning came, there was Leah! So Jacob said to Laban, “What is this you have done to me? I served you for Rachel, didn’t I? Why have you deceived me?” Today’s Reading: Genesis 29
