Rejecting God

It’s not you, it’s God.

This section of 1 Samuel is my reminder that God is in control and when people disregard my witness, it’s not me they are rejecting, it is God. Please let these words give you confidence to act as God has guided you. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy. 

1 Samuel 8:6-7

6 But when they said, “Give us a king to lead us,” this displeased Samuel; so he prayed to the Lord. 7 And the Lord told him: “Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me as their king.”
