Religion vs Relationship

In my life, I have met many people who say they believe in God. They go to church faithfully. They tithe. They serve. They even read their Bible and pray. But there’s a line they will not cross. That line is the one that Christ crossed without hesitation. 

Jesus is a relational Messiah. He obliterated the line that separated religion from relationship. As you learn more about Christ, you will see that He always chose relationship over religious tradition.

Luke 6:9-11

9 Then Jesus said to them, “I ask you, which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to destroy it?”

10 He looked around at them all, and then said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” He did so, and his hand was completely restored. 11 But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law were furious and began to discuss with one another what they might do to Jesus.
