Remember Lots Wife

There is so much in these three words Jesus spoke while He was teaching about the day of His return. To understand the significance of the statement you must know the story of Lot and what happened to his wife as they were leaving the city of Sodom. The story is found in Genesis 19.

A key to walking well with Christ is focusing on Him. It can be easy to get distracted by many things. We can long to be somewhere other than where we are. We can long to have something more than what we have. We must be careful lest we begin to worship at the alter of lack, longing for what we don’t or can’t have. Adam and Eve spent time at the alter of lack and look what happened. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy.
