Shakeable Faith

Shakeable Faith!

As you read this passage you may get the idea that Saul is a man of unshakeable faith. History tells us that we would be wrong with that line of thinking. 

In light of this great victory and Saul’s understanding that the battle belonged to the Lord, why do you think he ultimately allowed his faith to waver? 

Think of a time in your life in which your faith wavered and you made decisions contrary to what God would have you do? How did you respond to that revelation? Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy. 

1 Samuel 11:12-13

12 The people then said to Samuel, “Who was it that asked, ‘Shall Saul reign over us?’ Turn these men over to us so that we may put them to death.”

13 But Saul said, “No one will be put to death today, for this day the Lord has rescued Israel.”
