Sovereign

Do you sometimes forget the Sovereignty and Authority of God? Consider these two verses from Psalm 82. Notice the clarity of them. There is no ambiguity. God is the Judge of all. We must praise Him for not judging us for the sin we have committed. Instead, He came to earth in the flesh to take on our sin so we can be forgiven and have a right relationship with Him. 1 God presides in the great assembly; he renders judgment among the “gods”:

8 Rise up, O God, judge the earth, for all the nations are your inheritance.
