Stop Gossip
If you’ve ever been the topic of gossip, then you know how destructive it can be. Most people know this, yet they continue to participate in it. That is, until it comes to their front door. The writer of this proverb shares a truth about gossip that we would do well to internalize. It ends in betrayal. Remember, if a person gossips to you about others, it’s fair to assume that they gossip to others about you. However, notice the flip side of gossip. A person who is trustworthy is one on whom we can rely to maintain our trust. Be that person. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy.
