Notice how Psalm 43 ends? It will remind you of how Psalm 42 ends. The reason for this is simple. In many Hebrew manuscripts, they constitute one Psalm. As you read the Bible, be careful not to place your culture and your present day ideologies on what is meant by a passage. If you have never studied the Bible, I encourage you to do so. As a Christian, you are going to be questioned and sometimes challenged on what the Bible says about thus and so. It is important for you to know as much as possible so you can “rightly divide the Word of truth.” Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy. Psalm 43:5 5 Why, my soul, are you downcast?
