That's Faith

My life passage is Proverbs 3:5-6(look it up). As I finished this first chapter of 1 Samuel, I thought about that verse. 

Hannah seems to have put that passage into action. She prayed earnestly, then put her trust in the Lord. When God answered her prayer, she followed through on her promise to God by presenting her son to Him. 

THAT’S FAITH!!!

Do you have that level of faith? We should! God is calling us to trust in Him. If you put your trust in anyone or anything else, you are putting that above God. When you do that you are setting yourself up for failure. 

Do not be deceived, God cannot be mocked. A man will reap what he sows. I’m pretty sure I read that in the Bible somewhere.😏 Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy. 

1 Samuel 1:26-28

26 and she said to him, “Pardon me, my lord. As surely as you live, I am the woman who stood here beside you praying to the Lord. 27 I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him. 28 So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord.” And he worshiped the Lord there.
