The Messiah

The Messiah

I find it interesting that the religious leaders of that time were certain that John the Baptist was sent from God. Yet, they refused to believe that Jesus was the Messiah. 

Why is this interesting to me?

Because John told them he was not the Messiah, then he told them who was. And they refused to believe him. 

This is still happening today. People refuse to believe that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Anyone who does not believe is in for an eternity of separation from the Father. 

Seek Christ now. He wants a relationship with you. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy.

22 Finally they said, “Who are you? Give us an answer to take back to those who sent us. What do you say about yourself?”

23 John replied in the words of Isaiah the prophet, “I am the voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Make straight the way for the Lord.’”
