The Powerful Gospel

Gospel means “Good News.” The Good News is that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, was crucified on the cross, gave up His life, was dead and buried, and God raised Him from the grave! 

THAT is the hope for mankind. THAT is the power unto salvation for all who believe. THAT is what we have been commissioned to share in Matthew 28:19 and Mark 16:15.

Your life must be a living testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. You must share it everywhere you go. If you’re unable to speak the gospel truth, the life you live should LOOK like the gospel truth. This is non-negotiable. You don’t get to sit on the sideline and watch other Christians share the gospel while you sit in your salvation saying, “God knows my heart.”

Accept the responsibility to go and make disciples of every nation. You’re not alone, there are millions of people doing that very thing, daily. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy. 

Romans 1:16-17

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. 17 For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”
