The Veiled Gospel
A veil is used to hide the image of something or someone. Because of the veil, we are unable to get a true account of what is being veiled. In this passage, Paul explains that minds of unbelievers have been blinded by the god of this age. This “god” is Satan. He schemes and connives, convincing unbelievers that God is not real or, worse, he lets them know that God is real, but He doesn’t care about them. This is a critical point. As believers whose minds are not blinded, it becomes important for us to live lives that open the eyes of unbelievers. Our lives should shine the light of Christ in such a way that they have no choice but to believe. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy. 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. 4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. Today’s Reading: 2 Corinthians 4
