Therefore Go

Tomorrow is a big day in my life. Aside from my marriage and the birth of my daughter, I cannot think of a more important day. Along with some brothers and sisters in Christ, my wife and I are opening our home and starting a house church. The primary purpose of our gathering is to live out the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:18-20.

I love how this passage is our verse on the eve of such a landmark day in my life. One of the things our church will do is go out two by two to pray for people in our city and share the gospel. Ultimately, we want to be able to provide tangible support to those in need, but for now we will take our first step of faith by gathering weekly. 

On October 12, we will open our doors to anyone who is looking for a place to gather with a body of believers, be enriched by the empowering Word of God, and given a “mission” weekly to carry the Good News to a world in need of a savior.
