They’re Only Words
The words you say have power. If you’re uncertain about this, give someone a genuine compliment. Watch their face light up. Your words have the power to spread joy, confidence, hope, love, and so much more. Conversely, your words have the power to spread pain, deceit, hate, distrust, and so much more. This passage is a reminder that wisdom dictates that we choose our words carefully, using wisdom as our guide. Only a fool says everything that comes to their mind without regard for others. Take time today to intentionally speak life into someone. Choose words that build up the hearer. The key is to be genuine. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy.
