The desert is a hot, dry place that can drive you crazy if you have no water to drink. When dehydration sets in, the mind can begin to wander and the body begins to break down. In a word, the desert can be dangerous.
Yet, in Psalm 63, written by David when he was in the desert of Judah, we read that his thirst was for God. In the midst of this life threatening place, facing mental and physical danger, David’s thoughts, and thirst, were for the Lord and what He can do in his life. Are you in a difficult life circumstance or you have a loved one who is? Cry out to God. He specializes in such situations. He will not be overwhelmed. He’s ready! Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy. Psalm 63:2-5 2 I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. 3 Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. 4 I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands. 5 I will be fully satisfied as with the richest of foods; with singing lips my mouth will praise you.
