Thirteen Years

In Genesis 37:2, we learn that Joseph was 17 years old when he had the dreams about his family bowing down to him. Then he was sold into slavery at 17.

For the next thirteen years Joseph is a slave and then imprisoned for a crime he did not commit. In all that time he continued to be faithful to God. And God was with him.

What are you awaiting from God and it’s taking “too” long to come to fruition? Be patient like Joseph, God is at work. When the time comes it’s going to be magnificent. Let the life of Joseph be your inspiration to wait patiently. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy.

46 Joseph was thirty years old when he entered the service of Pharaoh king of Egypt. And Joseph went out from Pharaoh’s presence and traveled throughout Egypt.
