Why Choose Love

As you read 1 Corinthians 13, you get a picture of how we are to give love and the power of love. The beginning of verse 8 puts an end to the matter of why love. Simply put, “love never fails.”

The word love used in this chapter is the Greek word agape. It is a sacrificial, unconditional type of love. It is the type of love that one would show to a stranger in need, though the stranger could not reciprocate that love in action. 

Spend time taking an inventory of the love you give. Do you major in agape love or is it not a part of your love “curriculum?” Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy.
