Yes In Christ

As a parent, I went back on my word to my daughter. I can only imagine how frustrating it was for her to have that type of uncertainty from the person who “controlled” her ability to do the things she wanted to do. Broken promises are always a problem. 

Thanks be to God that He never breaks His promises. All of God’s promises are Yes and Jesus Christ is the Amen. 

Everything that God has promised in His Word will come to pass; including to exalt the humble and humble the wicked. Make sure you’re living right for Him. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy. 

2 Corinthians 1:18-20

18 But as surely as God is faithful, our message to you is not “Yes” and “No.” 19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us—by me and Silas and Timothy—was not “Yes” and “No,” but in him it has alwaysbeen “Yes.” 20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.
