Recently, God has placed a word on my heart, urgency. You may have noticed it in the devotions I’ve been sharing lately. I believe that we think we have all the time in the world to share Christ with others. That’s not true. You never know when someone’s last moment on earth will arrive. Young people are dying daily. They wake up not knowing that this is their last wake up. They think they have “all the time in the world.” Unfortunately, they didn’t.
As you read this passage, think about the reality of the non-believer. Look around your life and see if you have people in your life who do not believe in Jesus or worse, don’t know Him. If you have them, spend time with God so you may learn how He wants to use you in their lives. Remember this thought: Jesus is God’s plan to redeem His creation. The Church is God’s plan to spread God’s salvation message. We do not have the option of sharing or not. We are commanded to share (Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:15). What benefit is it for you not to share. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy. Revelation 21:6-8 6 He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. 7 Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children. 8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.” Today’s Reading: Revelation 21:1-8
