Your Wisdom’s Source
Wisdom is a wonderful thing. It enables us to avoid what could be catastrophic problems. Unfortunately, too many times, we make decisions based on what is wise in our eyes and that leads to problems. The key is to use Godly wisdom. This is what the writer of Proverbs is warning us to do in this passage. Have you ever made a decision that you thought was wise, but because you did not consult God, things didn’t turn out as planned? I know I have, far too many times than I would like to admit. When it’s decision time, take a second to seek God’s wisdom. It will make all the difference. Trust me. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy. Proverbs 3:7-8 7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. 8 This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones. Today’s Readings: Matthew 8:18-34; Proverbs 3:7-8
