He Will Send You Back
As I read this passage, I was reminded of the time Paul was stoned by people. Thinking he was dead they returned home. The Bible tells us that Paul got up “and went back into the city.” Of all the places in the world to go, why would Paul go BACK into the very place that meant his life may be on the line? Because that’s where God wanted him. This same reason answers the question of why Moses had to go BACK to Egypt. Remember, he had killed an Egyptian. Surely he was concerned about his life. But God was not. God was going to be his protection. Just like God protected Moses and Paul, He will protect you. Where is He telling you to go? Maybe He’s telling you to go back to your family and be His witness. Maybe He’s telling you to go back into a friendship and share Him with boldness. Or maybe He’s calling you to go back to a “million” other places that seem problematic. So what, GO!! When you use your wisdom to guide your life, you will ALWAYS be wrong! Read that again! Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy. Acts 7:34 34 ‘I have indeed seen the oppression of my people in Egypt. I have heard their groaning and have come down to set them free. Now come, I will send you back to Egypt.’ Today’s Readings: Acts 7:30-50; Proverbs 16:31-33
