A Servant To All

Jesus Christ has never changed. He has always been one who served others from a position of leadership. He explained to His disciples that if someone wanted to be great, he must be a servant to all. 

We know that Jesus is alive in heaven with the Father and all of the believers who have gone to sleep in His name. However, if Jesus, in flesh, was still walking the earth, He would be serving all in need. We know this because of this seemingly insignificant statement at the end of a paragraph in Hebrews chapter thirteen. 

If Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever, then we must be servants of all if we say we are Christians. A Christian is one who identifies with Christ. They are Christ-like. Therefore, we are required to be servants to all. That’s what Jesus did. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy.
