Are you a mature Christian or an infant? Are you in search of the next best “Christian Teaching” or are you daily reading your Bible and communing with the Holy Spirit? These questions may seem “silly,” but the reality is, many Christians in the United States confuse their Christian walk with US culture. They believe because they go to church from time to time and pray over their meals they are a mature Christian. That is not true.
We have been called to a higher place in Christ. A mature Christian is grounded in their faith. Reading their Bible and praying every day is as important to them as the need for oxygen. If you are not a mature Christian, stop playing around. Seek God with all your heart. As Jesus said, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.” He needs you to mature so He can give you the tough assignments. What are you waiting for? Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy. Ephesians 4:14-16 14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. 15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. 16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work. Today’s Reading: Ephesians 4:1-16
